I grew up on the countryside   with the cows outside my window.   I rode a little horse when I was 5. Thought the world was small, but little did I know this little country girl was so naive. I had a lot to learn to fast.   This one horse town couldn't hold me down. I took a one last look and took off without looking there.   Back. I traveled around this big old world trying so hard to fit in.   I couldn't accept I was a country girl. Tried to find myself, I didn't know where to pick in. Took a lot of years and broken hearts before I finally realized.

What I was out there searching for was very deep inside.   Now I found my own

perfect combination   that works for me. I'm in control.

Just the little, little eyed girls saying country.   I knew I'd find my way back home   taking the long way around.   A country fowl was burning in my soul. All the choices in the world couldn't put it out. I dug out my boots and my cowboy hat, and I knew what I had to do.   I knew I had to get back to my roots. I knew, I knew, I knew that I'd find my own
